On Sep 11th, a delegation of over 30 people, including leaders and members of the Ruian Filter Industry Association, visited Shandong Longde Composite Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. for a significant exchange and inspection activity. The visit aimed to enhance mutual understanding among member companies, explore new paths for collaborative innovation across the industry chain, and jointly promote the development of filter industry towards higher quality and higher standards. The delegation was immediately impressed by the modern and standardized factory environment and the well-organized production rhythm upon entering Longde Company's production park. Accompanied by Chairman Mr. Yin Peinong, the delegation visited the 1# base paper production line, the 1# and 2# coating lines, the 1# and 2# lamination lines, and the multi-pass laboratory. The advanced production equipment, highly automated and intelligent production processes, and strict quality control system left a deep impression on the delegation members. From the precise pretreatment of raw materials to the forming, curing, and processing of composite materials, and then to the testing and packaging of products, the application of a large number of automated equipment and intelligent control systems has not only greatly improved production efficiency but also ensured the high stability and consistency of product performance. This reflects Longde unwavering pursuit of the philosophy that "quality is life."

After the visit, a symposium was held. Mr. Yin Peinong warmly welcomed the leaders and entrepreneurs from the Ruian Filter Industry Association and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the association leaders and entrepreneurs who have long-term supported Longde's development. He reviewed the long-standing cooperation between Longde and the association. Today, we gather again to discuss future development, which will undoubtedly have significant value and meaning in promoting high-quality enterprise development under the current severe and complex market situation. Mr. Yin Peinong also provided a detailed introduction to Longde Company's development philosophy, production capacity construction, and market expansion. Regarding production capacity, the newly added 2# high-end filter paper production line is now fully operational, establishing a diversified production matrix. Its high-end filter paper production capacity accounts for over 50% of the national total, making it the largest single-plant filter paper production base in the Asia-Pacific region. Meanwhile, Longde actively expands its market, establishing stable cooperative relationships with numerous well-known domestic and international companies.

Its highly automated and intelligent production lines cover the entire process from raw material pretreatment to product testing and packaging, improving production efficiency and ensuring consistent product performance. This demonstrates a commitment to "quality is life" and a precise grasp of the trend of intelligent manufacturing, providing important lessons for the filter industry. Two feelings: First, Longde's unwavering dedication to technological innovation. The company has established a dedicated R&D center and created platforms such as the "Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center for Automotive Filter Paper," continuously increasing R&D investment and successfully overcoming industry challenges such as low filtration efficiency and poor fuel-water separation in domestically produced automotive engine fuel filter paper, breaking the foreign technology monopoly and achieving import substitution. Second, the dual-engine drive of innovation and lean management. During the discussion, a strong sense of innovation was deeply felt, with the R&D team continuously promoting material formulation and process upgrades; at the same time, lean management permeates the entire production process. This model of "seeking breakthroughs through innovation and improving efficiency through management" is worthy of emulation by other companies in the industry. Three points to consider: First, the filter industry needs to break through its current limitations through technological innovation, learning from Longde's breakthroughs in lightweight and high-temperature resistant materials, placing R&D investment at the core of its strategy, and moving away from homogeneous competition. Second, it needs to strengthen supply chain collaboration, upgrading cooperation with upstream material companies from "procurement cooperation" to "joint R&D." The association needs to build platforms to promote the integration of industry, academia, and research, and build a resilient industrial ecosystem. Third, talent is the foundation of innovation. It is necessary to establish incentive mechanisms, deepen university-enterprise cooperation, cultivate interdisciplinary talents, and foster a culture of "daring to innovate and tolerating failure."
